How to withdraw your winnings

1

Verify your account firstIdentity verification is required before your first withdrawal. You’ll be asked for an ID document and a recent proof of address — the process is explained in verifying your identity before withdrawing.

2

Confirm there’s no active bonusAn unmet wagering requirement blocks the withdrawal. Check which wagering requirements block withdrawals before submitting your request.

3

Choose the same method you deposited withIt’s a near-universal anti-money-laundering requirement in the industry, and the number one reason requests get rejected.

4

Submit and wait for processingThe request enters a review queue. Once approved, the timeline depends on the method and your bank or mobile money provider.

In plain terms: why the timeline varies so much

Withdrawal time has two stages. The first is the operator’s internal review, which is the same for every method. The second is moving the money: instant on mobile money, but dependent on bank settlement cycles for a card or a transfer. That’s why the same request can take an hour or three days, depending on where it’s going.

Why a withdrawal gets rejected

  • Unverified account — the most common reason. Fixed by submitting the requested documents.
  • Active bonus with unmet rollover — bonus balance can’t be withdrawn until the requirement is cleared.
  • A different method than the deposit — the system requires returning funds through the original channel first.
  • Mismatched details — the bank or mobile money account holder’s name has to match the registration name. Third-party accounts are always rejected.
  • Amount below the minimum — requests under the method’s limit are rejected automatically.
  • Unreadable documents — cropped, blurry or glare-affected photos force a resubmission and delay everything.

Good practice

After your first verification, make a small withdrawal — Ksh 500 or Ksh 1,000 — before building up a balance. Confirm the process works end-to-end with your bank or mobile money account, so you don’t run into a problem once the amount at stake is significant.

Fees and conversions

The operator doesn’t usually charge its own fee on the most common methods, but that doesn’t mean the transaction is free. There are three places you can lose value without noticing: currency conversion, if your account isn’t in KES; network fees on crypto, which vary with congestion; and any charges your own bank applies to international transfers.

The first one is solved at the source: choose KES as your account currency at registration. It’s an irreversible decision, and the most important one you make when opening an account. You can also manage payments through the app, with the same methods and limits as the web version.

Register with KES as your currency and use local payment methods from your very first deposit.

Frequently asked questions

What’s the minimum deposit on PariPesa?

The minimum deposit starts at Ksh 100 on the most accessible methods, like M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Skrill and Neteller, and rises to Ksh 500 on cards and around Ksh 2,000 on bank transfer. The minimum withdrawal is usually around Ksh 1,000.

How long does a withdrawal take?

Mobile money and crypto are processed within a few hours. Bank cards and transfers typically take 1 to 3 business days. The clock only starts once your account is verified and any bonus requirements are cleared.

Can I withdraw to a different method than my deposit?

Generally no. Anti-money-laundering rules require the money to return through the original channel, at least up to the amount deposited. Only any surplus can, in some cases, go through a different method.

Does PariPesa charge fees on payments?

There’s usually no operator fee on the most common methods. There can be indirect costs: currency conversion if your account isn’t in KES, network fees on crypto, and any charges from your own bank.

Why hasn’t my deposit shown up in my balance?

On most methods, credit is instant. If more than 15 minutes pass, check whether the transaction was actually deducted, keep the confirmation, and contact support via live chat with the transaction reference.
